NEW PARAFIX WINTER
LEAGUE
The
Singing Hills Mens Team have played the first two games in this
competition and won them both. Last Sunday they beat Mid
Sussex 5-0.
THE DOWNS TROPHY
Singing Hills
team lost the away match against West Hove by 8 points but on the
return match last week won the Downs Trophy by 1
point.
JUNIORS
The Junior Section
continues to go from strength to strength with 16 playing in the
weekend medal. Now we have recruited new Junior Organisers
with Mike and Davina Brimacombe we are moving forward. Many
thanks to Kevin Meeton for providing team shirts for the
juniors.

QUIZ NIGHT
The next General Knowledge quiz night is
scheduled for Friday evening 21st November so make sure you
book your place at the bar. Places are limited to 100 and
includes a one course meal. A donation will be made to the BBC
Children In Need.
CHRISTMAS PARTY
NIGHTS
Have your Christmas Party Night
on any night you choose and you are not limited to Friday's and
Saturday's. Either book as many places as you like at our
organised nights or bring a minimum of 60 guests on another night
for a private party.

12:30am to our resident

NEW YEAR'S EVE
CELEBRATIONS
Enjoy an evening
remembering the Rat Pack and dancing to our international kings of
swing, featuring singing sensation Richard Ratcliffe, BBC Radio
musician Michael Wooldridge and drummer to the stars Phil
Solomon.
A great way to ring in the New Year, the evening will
include classic songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Tony
Bennett, Nat King Cole, Harry Connick Junior, Bobby Darin and many,
many more.
Tickets include a glass of Bubbly and canapés on
arrival and a two course deluxe buffet.

NEW STAFF
We
have appointed a new Bar Manager, Rick Saunders who comes to us
well recommended and previously worked at Princes Golf Course
in Kent. Rick is a keen ale drinker and knows about ale
and maintaining a beer cellar. We expect Rick to be involved in
our theme nights and other
events.

We have also appointed a second Golf
Professional named Arron Trott who recently completed his Golf
Professional's 3 years training. Arron has worked here
previously as a shop assistant and knows many of the members.
Arron is the Assistant Professional to our Head Professional,
Wallace Street. Arron will be providing a service in the golf
shop as well as teaching with emphasis on juniors and local school
children.
